Rudra Abhishek is a puja under which lord Shiva and his Lingam is worshipped by offering powerful mantras and hymns. The various mantras chanted along with offering various puja items. The sacred puja items offered during the puja is a flower, bilwa Patra, milk, coconut water, honey, curd, sugarcane, juice, sandal paste, aromatic oils, bhasma, camphor, etc. This puja is also given crucial importance in Ramayana as Lord Ram performed this puja before leaving for his journey to defeat Ravana.
