Shiv Shakti means union of Lord Shiva and Goddess Shakti, the male and female energies of the universe. Shiva is universal consciousness and Maa Shakti is divine universal energy. Whole universe is created by the two fundamental forces of Shiva and Shakti. Shiva is the supreme God, he is also called as Mahadev meaning the God of the Gods and Shakti is the divine mother of the sacred force and power of energy. There is no Shiva without Shakti and no Shakti without Shiva.
